Appearance:

Clear and bright with burnished mahogany hues.

Nose:

Complex and multi-layered; dusty wood and old tobacco pouch at first. Slowly the emphasis moves to fruit and spices; cooked damsons, raisins and nutmeg are all prevalent.

Palate:

At full strength, it is rich and spicy with excellent tannins and notes of muscovado sugar to the fore with a hint of wax. When reduced, orange peel, camphor and cloves emerge.

Finish:

Long and very spicy, slightly smoky remnants.

Hollywood actress Missi Pyle stared in The Artist, one of the most buzzed about films of 2011. Missi Pyle plays Constance, an actress struggling to maintain the limelight. The Artist is a silent film, shot in black and white, and it captures old Hollywood as few films have with a power and presence that makes it one of the years best.

Pyle stated that she loved her experience on the film. She knew the film was not only going to be silent, but also in black and white and felt “intimately present” in her role and was able to focus on aspects of her performance that she hadn’t thought of before – that’s talent!

"The Artist," a throwback to the era of silent films, had its Los Angeles premiere in Beverly Hills at AMPAS Samuel Godwyn Theatre on Monday November 21, where the movie stars arrived by vintage cars before stepping back into the "golden age" of Hollywood. How incredible is that?

Yes, Thanksgiving Day is approaching and it is a time to get together with family and friends, and eat to your heart’s delight. It is also the one holiday where fashion simply must be functional.

While some of us are packing our weekend bags for a special vacation, others are planning a lovely dinner. No matter your flair or the formality or informality of your get-together, it's the perfect excuse to put together a marvelous outfit that makes you feel and look good.

Thanksgiving is an occasion that calls for festive attire! You want to look polished but be very comfortable because thanksgiving is a day that is all about eating, eating and eating. We recommend that you dress up because you know that you will be posing for pictures.

Ladies, a comfortable dress put together with a fancy clutch and something sparkly, like chandelier earrings or a statement necklace is ideal. Another option would be to wear dark stretch denims paired with a semi-loose fitting, yet dazzling blouse and a blazer. Please accessorize but do not go overboard and look like an Indian bride. Remember, high heels are your best friends. They elongate your legs so you appear slimmer and give an instant feminine touch.

Gentlemen, we recommend that you wear a blazer with a clean-cut button-down shirt and dress pants. For the more casual male, try straight fit denims, a cashmere cardigan, loafers and a statement watch. Ta-da – It’s as simple as that! Mix it up and show off your fashion skills.

When attending the get-together, be punctual and courteous. Bring a bottle of wine or dessert to the dinner and have fun! Remember, being overdressed is better than being underdressed!

AFI FEST 2011 Presented By Audi - "The Artist" Special Screening – Red Carpet

The American Film Institute is an independent organization that was established in 1967. The organization portrays itself as "a national institute providing leadership in screen education and the recognition and celebration of excellence in the art of film, television and digital media.”

Actress Missi Pyle arrived at "The Artist" Special Screening during AFI FEST 2011 presented by Audi. The event was held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on November 8, 2011.

Missi Pyle looked stunning at the premiere. She was styled by Colin Megaro who is celebrity fashion stylist. Colin picked out a figure flattering, V-neck, mid length asymmetrical dress by Adrianna Papell and topped off the look with drop dead gorgeous jewels by Erica Courtney.

After the AFI’s official party at the Roosevelt, all the talent headed to The Little Door for a more intimate gathering hosted by Bombay Sapphire.
